About the Course
The Music Production course is designed to equip our students with in depth knowledge of industry standard DAW (digital audio workstation), and teach them how to compose their own music in 10 only months!
Even at early stages, students will learn everything they need to know, to get them started with computer music composition right away. This makes this course perfect for beginners, since we start from the beginning, but also challenging for the experienced learners who want an in-depth knowledge.
Through a theoretical and practical framework, students will be taught various music production techniques and in combination with the advanced DAW software skills that they will develop during the course, they will be able to incorporate these skills into creating their own musical compositions, regardless of the genre of music that they are interested in.

This knowledge will be further reinforced by introductory music theory / harmony lessons, as well as guidance on how our students can build their musical structure and arrangement, to create an effective composition.
The aim of the course is to help our students fuel their creativity and give them the ability to express their musical ideas and turn them into finished tracks.
By the end of the course, our students will have the knowledge to record, compose, edit, mix and master their own music.
Resources
The lessons will take place in a class of maximum 8 students, where every student will be able to work with the latest software and hardware.
The classroom is equipped with a smartboard to stimulate interactive learning. Every student is allocated a brand new iMac running the latest DAW software and also has to his/her disposal a professional audio interface as well as, headphones and a controller keyboard.

Is this course for me?
This course is composition focused and is aimed at musicians, composers and individuals who want to master essential skills in order to compose music within the DAW (digital audio workstation) environment.
The lessons will be delivered in a simplified, streamlined, yet methodical way, without the use of complicated jargon and unnecessary information. The lessons will be easy to follow, even if you are a complete beginner in music technology, yet still challenging for someone who is more experienced.
